At the moment, users have to perform 2 different searches to:
- check the teacher’s record (by TRN)
- check if the teacher has restrictions (by name and date of birth)
Searching by name and date of birth is useful because:
- not all teachers have a TRN
- users will do checks for other roles like teaching assistants
But having to do 2 separate searches is long-winded, unnecessary and adds complexity.
So we’ve changed this so that users only have to perform a single search by name and date of birth.
