What we did

We added ‘Withdrawn’ as an additional option for users to select in the ‘Record a decision’ journey.

And also created a new screen to record the date the project was withdrawn:

The check answers screen and the screen showing the recorded decision were both updated to reflect this:

Next steps

This solution feels like a bit of a stop gap and compromise reached due to time constraints. As a scheme can be withdrawn prior to the advisory board, it’s not necessarily their decision.

We should investigate possible alternative solutions for this, and potentially create a new field entirely, eg ‘Status’, which could be things like Active, Withdrawn or Archived, and be quite separate from the existing possible advisory board decisions.
