What we changed

  • in the case list, we changed the call-to-action from ‘Add notes’ to ‘Quick edit’
  • we added the case level, procurement stage, next key date and description, and the school status selector components to the ‘Quick edit’ screen.

Why we changed this

We know that time is a very important factor for the proc ops team, so providing a shortcut to key information in one place, instead of across multiple screens will help the team save time.

How it works

The ‘Quick edit’ screen allows case workers to quickly:

  • add, update or remove key notes to the case
  • add, update or remove key dates to a case so that they can be reminded when to perform the next action
  • view or change the case level and/or procurement stage of a case
  • select or change the status of a school if they are waiting on a response

Changes to case notes, key dates/descriptions, and procurement levels/statuses are recorded in the case history.

Further considerations

Add a ‘Quick edit’ page title to the ‘Quick edit’ screen.
