What we changed

We added a 'Add attachments' call-to-action to the ‘Create a template’ screen.

Why we changed this

Proc Ops managers want to include attachments when creating email templates, because it will be more efficient and more consistent when case workers use the templates to send documents to schools.

How it works

When creating a new email template, the Proc Ops manager can now attach a file from their desktop or from another source by:

  • clicking on ‘Add attachments’
  • selecting the source
  • selecting one or more files from that source
  • selecting the ‘Upload’ call-to-action

Further considerations

  • For efficiency, we should allow attachments from multiple sources. This will mean that saved files from the CMS can be attached.
  • Allow a preview of the file, so that the Proc Ops manager can see that it’s the correct file before uploading.
