Problem statement

Overall problem statement: Schools miss out on DfE's existing and emerging procurement solutions and related savings because they're not aware of them, and when they are, they struggle to find them and choose the right one for them.

Design challenge

HMW maximise awareness so users know about all buying solutions available to them, and are able to find and choose the right one?

Design hypothesis

If we give users multiple options on the landing page, and filters on the results page as well as related actions, we can meet the user needs to set expectation, raise awareness, make it easy to use and to find and navigate to the right buying solution.

User research

The User Researcher put together an Insights catalogue, and present an Overall UR playback for alpha to wider stakeholders.

Assessment

We had an end-of-alpha peer review/assessment on 18 December 2024, where we presented FABS alpha assessment slide deck (abridged version).

We also shared FABS alpha assessment pack (unabridged version) ahead of the meeting.
