Version 2.0 will be a full reworking of the Apply to become an academy service's user interface.
It will:
- have better organised content
- be more secure
- allow applications from multiple schools
- be built with accessibility and usability in mind
That's a lot of change
Normally you'd want to avoid 'starting over' when working with a live product.
The GDS design principal of iteration advises you to make 'little changes', test them with your users and then move on to the next problem.
But what if there was a problem that was product-wide? What if everything needed to be rarranged?
Sadly we discovered A2B had just such an underlying problem.
We needed a way to change everything but with small, testable changes.
