We want to prompt users to share the resources more widely, to help publicise the service and encourage them to use it with their colleagues.
What we did
We explored ways users could share individual resources via email to help increase awareness of the service and encourage users to share it with others.
When a user clicks on ‘Mail’, the service opens an empty email with no recipient that includes the link to the resource page, along with the following text:
Email subject: “Resource to help with workload and wellbeing for school staff”
Email body: “Check out [resource name] to help improve workload and wellbeing for staff in your school: [link to resource]”
What we found
In usability testing, users liked having the option to share individual resources through this functionality and found it simple and easy to use to quickly share material from the service.
What we want to investigate
Research also told us that some users would like to share resources via other applications like WhatsApp and LinkedIn – something our service could explore in the future if technically feasible.
