The site had a feedback bar above the footer on nearly every page linking to the feedback form. There was also a link to the feedback form in the footer on every page.

Our accessibility audit identified that there was an insufficient colour contrast ratio in the feedback bar.

We receive very little feedback from users, so we decided to remove the feedback bar but keep the link in the footer, which is an expected location that users would be familiar with. This had the benefit of simplifying the code by removing a bespoke component and enabling users to reach useful links in the footer more quickly.
